Murder, she coded
I have always had a passion for learning languages and new words. A few combinations of words can make people communicate with each other in endless ways and create the most fantastic stories. In my early teens I developed an immense fascination for France which led me to study French. At secondary school I also took Spanish and Latin and later got my degree in translation.
Learning a new language and learning to code are in many ways similar. It is all in the details. Grammar and coding are cousins, but coding is the bossy cousin with more harsh rules. One little spelling mistake and your whole code could get messed up!
My vocabulary has in the past 10 weeks been enriched by words and expressions like divs, props, booleans, arrays, the DOM, flexbox… When I code I communicate with my computer in this cool language and if I manage to get everything right I can get it to visually translate the most colorful, complex, interactive and beautiful stories.
